Private and public health care

Do you have a customer:

experiencingsymptoms of heart arrhythmia, but the arrhythmia has not been detected in an ECG?

with an increased risk for atrial fibrillation?

who has suffered a TIA/strokewithout any apparent reason?

who has a chronic aFib,that an effective medicine is looked for?

We have a solution for you:

The AiVoniservice!

The AiVoni® -service is a CE-marked (Class IIa, pending) ECG-device for diagnosing arrhythmias

The AiVoni® -service makes it possible to monitor and diagnose atrial fibrillation, low resting heart rate, high resting heart rate and ventricular extrasystoles. According to the recommendation of The European Society of Cardiology, a single-lead ECG can be used when diagnosing atrial fibrillation. Opportunistic screening for atrial fibrillation is recommended in patients over 65 years of age. Systematic ECG screening may be considered to detect atrial fibrillation in patients aged 75 years and older (1).

The AiVoni® -service has been developed to reduce the time which physicians spend in diagnosing ECG-stripes containing none or clinically insignificant arrhythmias. Unnecessary visits to the doctor’s decrease, when patients themselves can use reliable analytics, thus freeing time for people in real need. With the AiVoni® -service, you can offer your patients arrhythmia analyses cost-efficiently and engage them to monitor their heart rhythm, both in the short and long run. In the clinical validation, atrial fibrillation was detected with 96% sensitivity and 99% specificity.

 (1) 2016 ESC Guidelines for the Management of Atrial Fibrillation developed in collaboration with the European Association for Cardio-Thoracic Surgery (EACTS), and with the special contribution of the European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA) of the ESC.

The AiVoni® -service in use

The AiVoni® -service will be launched in early 2020. User experience research and development have been conducted in several health care units in Finland, and the clinical validation in Kuopio University Hospital. During the user experience research and development, thousands of ECG-strips were analysed with the AiVoni -service.

Health Care – single-lead ECG measurement

AiVoni® -service offers a fast and reliable way to measure ECG and diagnose the heart rhythm, without the need to send the patient to a 12-lead ECG. It is also possible to integrate the AiVoni® -analyses service with the information systems in use within health care, so that the ECG- measurements, including the arrhythmia analyses, automatically are saved into the patient information system in use in your organisation.

Elderly care – for analyse of arrhythmias

With the AiVoni® -service, it is easy to screen for atrial fibrillation (e.g. two measurements/week). Age is the most prominent risk factor causing atrial fibrillation. All arrhythmias, especially atrial fibrillation, diagnosed with the help of ECG, is of great importance. If untreated, atrial fibrillation can, in the worst-case lead to a stroke.
